Whatsername is created and owned by Jenna Ballinger. The road was a long one starting when I was 14, around 2005. My first show was Green Day. I fell in love with the live performance, the rush of fans, the smells, the crazy antics. From that day on I went to as many shows as possible.
I started promoting the musicians I saw kind of by accident. I would post about them on Myspace, and later Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. I eventually started wanting to do it all the time.
By 2009, I met Quietdrive and started doing a lot of their promoting. That's what started me down the path of doing this as a career, and I've never looked back.
I also promote other artists including actors, fine artists, media artists, and so on.

I currently go to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design for Branding, Marketing, and Public Relations. Art and PR are my passion.
